Thank you for pointing this out - I bought my copy as soon as I saw your post. Who knows how long it will remain available. One of the best things about prince.org is the sharing of info. It was a post just like this one that enabled me to snap up a cd of The War before they sold out.

After visiting the NPGMC retail section I'm convinced the Xenophobia project is going to be released.
There are numerous tee shirts for sale with the Xenophobia picture on it.
A lot of work for a project that has no release date.

Right after The Celebration I wrote NPGMC & asked if there were any plans to make this single available.
They wrote back no such plans - it was a one-time item.
Maybe because enough people asked for copies they printed more.
Or someone found a box under the back shelf when cleaning up & they just put them up for sale & they will run out when all 35 copies are gone.
By the way I don't see this info posted on a.m.p. - more evidence that prince.org is the superior site for the latest Prince info.

I just got one on eBay for $40 last week!

I bought it as soon as I heard about it on the org. But since I live in Canada they are charging me 35 bucks U.S for shipping. Thats CRAZY!!! I e-mailed them back trying to cancel the order.

just when I was gonna order i read your post about the mailing charge - no way I am paying that (I'm in New Aealand)...r u sure thats right - last time i got stuff from NPG - 1800 NFunk- the shipping was only $10...I'll b very wary!!!
just wonder if these tracks will b on the offical CD set anyway...might all b a bit of a waste of $$$ if its on the live album anyway...wish they were a bit more 'official and helpful' regarding the new set coming 'soon'...ie- is it gonna be part of the membership or do we have to purchase it - and we'll get the rest of the cds as well - as per our membership...

Call me crazy, but I didn't even think it was worth the download. The version on Crystal Ball is better than this one.

eye'll have 2 agree with that.. its crapy overdubs and whenever he says stuff like "you in the green shirt" "you in the red shirt" ect.. its ALL overdubs, its really cheesy sounding, and it he should have left it alone.. especially when they studio clapping comes in.. HAHAHAHA

And I ordered a copy on cd so downloading did not have a negative effect on purchasing the music when it was available on cd.
