Did Pook also miss the other lyrics in that same song that caused the most notorious act Prince ever commited?

I read where Prince actually got the idea to do 'Purple Rain' from watching Bob Seager in concert! I don't know if it is an absolute fact but I know I read it on 'Rolling Stone 500 greatest songs of all-time' list.

I also read awhile back I believe that Hendrix took the whole playing the guitar with his teeth thing from Buddy Guy and many of his other stage moves from various bluesmen from the past.
