Playing Prince's piano solo(s) at my work spot What is yo favorite PIANO solo by Prince???
LOL Its not like he's the best pianist in the world but he's sho nuff the NAUGHTIEST, just check out the 'Let's go crazy' pre4mance in PR and the opening credit in UTCM(Which is my favorite piano solo ever). 4 the love of god he's the son of a JAZZ PIANIST and if you haven't noticed, the brotha is strongly influenced by his father. See, I'm a PIANIST myself and I work in a Poetry Cafe down in Harlem, I'll be playing 'Under the cherry moon' 'Vinus de millo' 'Father's song' 'God' and 'Alex de paris'. My boss had no idea what I'm playing but she liked 'em alright, she be tellin a sistah later to play these again and others if I have. So, if you know more PIANO solo(s) by the man give me a list. I would be thankfull 4eva

Where in Harlem do you play? So the NYC peeps can come check you out. "That...magic, the start of something revolutionary-the Minneapolis Sound, we should cherish it and not punish prince for not being able to replicate it."-Dreamshaman32

"Power Fantastic"...? I know Lisa plays the original has he ever played it live? Hi, adorable2 I'm not sure whether Prince has played either of those song live in concert, or not...actually, those just are piano pieces that I like which I thought Harlepolis might like to play in the cafe...

"Power Fantastic"...? I know Lisa plays the original has he ever played it live? He played it Power Fantastic the NYC soundcheck (can't remember if he did the piano party)... but he played both of them on piano at the Celebration the second night. Much love Pochacco Man, I can't picture a piano solo in SITW Wish I have that demo The demo is f'n awesome, great piano work, I like it better than the album version, it's found on the net. Another few you could try out is Purple Rain like the movie version, Condition of the Heart, Free, Beautiful Ones, Alexa De Paris, God, Sweet Baby, Damn U, Sometimes it Snows. Some of these have vocals but you can still play them instrumental and they would kick ass. ______________________________________________

I really like the piano version of "An Honest Man" Prince plays in the beginning of "Under the Cherry Moon" movie.
Also, how about "Empty Room"? I'd love to come and listen to you play, except I live in LA. Glad to hear you're getting positive feedback. Have fun!

Altho I'm not sure! Man, this opening credit is THE BEST scene in that movie and the reason is his piano playing. He gets naughty at the end and thats why I love it.
