Favorite Prince bass tracks

So much great bass by Prince... here's 10 of my favorites for bass(no particular order):

1. Electric Chair
2. DMSR
3. 777-9311
4. Pop Life
5. Anoterhloverholenyourhead
6. Private Joy
7. Let's Work
8. Lady Cab Driver
9. In this bed I scream
10. If I was your girlfriend

so many others... but I stuck with 10 for this thread. What a great bass player he is.

What are your faves for bass?

"La La La He He Hee". That bass breakdown in the middle makes me leap out of my chair every time.

The entire Parade album. It displays his bass versatility.

Also Play In The Sunshine, very underrated bass track. So melodic.

Let's Work--I only noticed the middle part recently. Amazing
Alphabet Street
Call My Name--not very funky, but nice & tasteful
Face Down
2 Nigs United for West Compton--Along With Alphabet St., some would say this isn't Prince, but it sounds like him to me.

Good reply on "What's My Name". I almost forgot about that one. My choices on favorite bass tracks are: "Sign 'O' The Times", "In This Bed I Scream", "Let's Work", "Sexy Dancer", "Joint 2 Joint", "Emancipation", "Letitgo", "Now", "Calhoun Square", and "Partyup".
Peace and be wild!

The bass is rather low in the mix, but dig the 12 inch of 'She's always in my hair'. You wouldn't expect it in that song, but he seriously funks it up.

of them all alphabet street remix.
parts of it are played with a bass sample on keyboard inbetween.

closely followed by automatic (end part) and lets work remix.

I think Prince himself has stated that he loved the bass line of 777-9311 so who am I to disagree?

And of course, how could I forget, the bass/drums jam he did with Sheila in 1985 or 1986, playing Girls&Boys and Holly Rock.
