of those you own, which is your favorite and why? if you still consider yourself a prince "newbie" are you learning what you like most from him? Graffiti Bridge is pretty diverse, songs like The Question of U and Joy in Repetition, are slept on classics.

I've been a die hard Prince fan since I was 9 yrs old and own nearly his whole catalog including bootleg material and a demo tape he sent to all his NPG Club fans called "The War". So get these great albums in no particular order but get them all. O.K.

Parade. Twenty years later, it is still in my top tier -- and I think it sounds as fresh as the day it was released.

Or...you could opt for the live experience and get "One Night Alone." The version of "Joy in Repetition" in that set is worth the price, all by itself.

"The Gold Experience" rocks, but it's out of print and you'll most likely end up paying a lot for it.

If possible, snag yourself the "Black" albums, and Lovesexy, and listen to them back-to-back. After that, hit The Gold Experience to get the best of his work from the 90s.
