Prince Needs to do The Nuance Tour

ok, this is my first official post. whassup to all the purple people. esp. those from the D. (detroit; prince's 2nd home for performances; i'll elab. another time if need be for any haters but i digress)

here's the idea, i think Prince should do a medium/small venue tour that showcases rarely performed gems from his albums. The Nuance Tour. if he's truly "retiring the hits" (Musicology tour), he can still appease fans who want to hear the older stuff by performing non-singles from "classic" albums or B-sides that they'll know but technically weren't 'hits' (because they weren't singles and didn't chart). Examples might be Erotic City, D.M.S.R Why u Wanna Treat Me So Bad, Girls and Boys, The Ballad of Dorothy Parker, etc. Songs like these mixed with recent and not so recent "non-hits" that should have been hits like Vicky Waiting, "Space", Pheremone, Billy Jack Bitch, She Loves Me for Me, The Dance, Wherever U Go, etc. would make for an eclectic tour that would generate a lot of excitement

the last time i saw him (at The Joe). i was quite pleasantly surprised to hear Bambi, When You Were Mine (although abbreviated, the guitar riff alone was worth the price of admission), How Come You Don't Call Me, and She's Always in My Hair. that's where the idea came from. i think such a "nuanced song list/tour" would be a huge success, showcase and bring attention to "slept on gems" that have rarely if ever gotten the live concert treatment and just demonstrate further to an easily forgetful public, just how diverse Prince's mastery is.

what do u all think? what songs would u add to the playlist and why?

Hey, what up, DatDude? I've always got time to welcome a fellow "Motor Baby"!

As for The Nuance Tour, that sounds good to me but of course, I'm biased! Any kind of tour is cool with me as long as Prince makes a stop in Detroit! I'd definitely want to hear a few of my favs.:

that's interesting i get that a lot from ppl. (It's Gonna Be Lonely) that is a classic joint. when he did How Come You Don't Call Me No More he got kinda emotional (it was just on the heels of the Mayte thing), would've been a perfect time to do it.
