I know many here prefer Prince's less commercial material like "Rainbow Children", but it was time for some commercial stuff and I'm glad to see it recognized this way. Congrats Prince. I am convinced Beyonce's career would not be where it is, if she had dark skin. | |

If he performs, I predict a medley of Black Sweat (since it's the only nominated song he hasn't performed on TV, and most likely to win), Kiss (since he seems to perform Kiss with Black Sweat a lot) and a new song (since he's bound to have something new around the time of the Grammies / SuperBowl).

i'm thinking that the cat's guaranteed at least 1 grammy, because i know the other folks he's up against are most certainly gonna whoop that ass so there ain't no way he's gonna get the entire 5.
anyways, the only thing i'm looking forward to is what suit he'll be wearing on grammy night. s'about the only redeeming quality about the award shows/ceremonies he's on anymore. | |

Ain't that the truth! Anyway, for the record, Prince has six Grammy Awards: 3 in 1984, 1 in 1986, and then the two he picked up in 2004. I think he'll win one of the five this year; Best Urban/ Alternative (?!?) song for "3121." |
