Not 100% cool with it...but not as anti-Vegas as I was initially. Of course most people who go write positive reviews...even a 'bad' Prince concert is better than most artists' good concerts. I will only be able to decide definitively once I see for myself...Yes, I know that's kinda hypocritical but I won't believe that it's not cheesy or sucky unless I see it first hand.

No, but . He's Prince. He'll be on to something else soon enough.

The Vegas thing is completely irrelevant to me as it's something I won't get to experience. He may as well have kept quiet over the winter months for all the entertainment value his Vegas stint is doing me and the majority of other Prince fans.

But for those who do get to go, I genuinely hope and I'm glad you are having a good time, but at least think about the rest of us for whom this move is somewhat of a white elephant.

When we talk about Vegas we think about Elvis ,Tom Jones or Celine Dion,we can't imagine Prince doing this.After seeing the pics here it's clear he has created his own little enviroment overthere.
And yes,if he would play in Brussels or Paris 4 the next 6 months in a cheesy club,I don't think I would complain about it

I'm cool with it; I'm not cool with the fact that I don't live in Vegas. If I did, I'd watch him perform EVERY weekend!!

For those of us geographically lucky enough to have experienced Club 3121 - it's been a blast! I'm sorry for those who haven't been able to attend due to distance. I've always been jealous of the Minneapolis Paisley Park shows and after parties - the New York jams, etc... so, really - regardless of where he plays, someone's going to be sad he isn't near them.

The show is worth it! Worth the drive, worth the cost, worth the sore feet... worth the wait. I am going to go back next year, this time maybe I'll fly - it'll only take an hour or so by plane, instead of 4-5 hours by car.

Being at this site for so long, it's obvious to me that Prince will never be able to please all of us, all of the time. Personally, I'm so glad he's doing Vegas - his way, the way I knew he'd do it. (I was never worried)

Now on to Super Bowl! A half-time show, no doubt, like no other...
