Prince action figure It seems like everyone has an action figure out these days.
If Prince put out an action figure of himself, would you buy it? I've been wanting one for years! | |

The time for merchandising like action figures was as a tie in with Purple Rain and it's success.
Prince could come with a white cloud guitar and motorbike as optional extra, Bobby Z with drumsticks, Dr Fink with Surgeons mask, Wendy&Lisa and MorrisnJerome could be two for one deals... Brown Mark however talks if you press a button his back so after the film fans actually know what his voice sounds like.  | |

The Prince action figure/doll  would have to come with accessories...

moderatorI'd have to buy one even though I wouldn't know what to do with it. It'd be great if McFarlane Toys made a Prince figure...you know it'd be great. They already made ones for Kiss, Ozzy, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, The Beatles, Ted Nugent, etc, etc. I don't expect them to make a Prince one, but it would definitely be worth the $7 or so. | |

Prince had offers  made to him  for merchandise marketing, during his mega successful  years  of 82-87, but turned them all down   , feeling like it was not his style. Michael   Jackson had put out a doll right around the same time Purple Rain was about to hit theaters, and MJ's doll was corny enough, so Prince did not wanna  be in that catagory. He wanted to be a different type of rock  star all together...  | |

If Mattel made one, I'd probably buy the entire collection... cloud suit, purple rain suit + coat, sign O the times jacket and glasses,... I'd spend days shampooing, blow-drying and curling his hair to a typhoon
