Sacrifice of Victor book Who has this? I am curious about it. Where did you get it? Has any1 seen it 4 sale anywhere? (please don't tell me ebay). How many copies were printed? Any in4mation would be cool. I thought it was another one of those infamous Prince projects that got dropped.

£700?? Outrageous!
I finally managed to pick up a - paperback - copy of 'Sacrifice' at this year's Celebration. They were selling copies for $30 each (around £20/£25, I guess). I'm glad I have it, from a collector's standpoint, but I wouldn't call it an essential item.

I have this book.
I bought it at the old NPG store in Minneapolis back in...wow, maybe 1994? It's got some great photos in it. I have the hardcover edition, and it's cool, but not essential. If it breaks when it bends, you better not put it in.

I missed this one and the other book of poems...I forget...Neo-something...they have fantastic Prince photos.
I could have bought it at Glam Slam West, but I just sat on my laurels and said later...regret it in a way. Oh well, one day I'll have it for reminiscing.

I bought it at the Camden town NPG store, back in '94.
Great photos, very 'natural' ones, unlike many of his which are often tooo sophisticated.

I think its available at the NPGMC site. Its not all that great tho, just some cheesy computer graphics and like 10-12 really thick (posterboard-like) pages.

I have a bootleg called "Black", and the pictures came in the booklet. By the way, the cd is great, some rehearsals from the Gold era. -------------------------------------------------

Are you talking about Sacrifice or Neo Manifesto? Sacrifice only has the lyrics to The Sacrifice Of Victor. Neo Manifesto contains lyrics to: Color Crystal Ball And How Don't Talk To Strangers Empty Room Old Friends For Sale and God Is Alive Some people are like Slinkies...

No, the black & white Sacrifice of Victor photo book, with mostly lyrics from the Come album. I remember seeing one song lyric that wasn't on Come, though...maybe it was from TGE.
The format is the photo on the right-hand side, and one line of lyrics on the left-hand side of the layout.

Aaah, I see what you mean now. I thought you were referring to full song lyrics, but yeah, there are quotes from TGE and also from the album Some people are like Slinkies...
