Purple Rain stinks! I just listened to this album for the first time, and I have to say that this album just stinks. I don't know what the whole 80s vibe was all about, but it's apparent that it's running rampant in this mess. What is up with all that techno drum and synth bass that...well...just stinks. And why does Prince have to scream so many times? We get it, he's into the music, but he does it way too much.
