I sure miss the days when Prince's music had more emotion. I miss when he used to make songs like: Mad, Insatiable, I hate U, Adore, Pink Cashmere, 17 days, Anotherloverhoenyohead, DMSR, Darling Nikki, Pop Life, I could never take the place of your man, etc. The list goes on and on. Not only does his new music lack emotion but it lacks creativity. Remember when you had to play a track over and over to realize his true message? His old music was more like poetry where the meaning of his songs could be interpreting in many different ways. Remember when each prince song had a special meaning to it? Remember when you used to be able to get your freak on with your girl and a Prince track playing in the in back ground? Remember when you just couldn't wait for Prince to come out with a remix or extended version of your favorite song? Remember when you first heard the Remixes to Get Off? When was the last time Prince had a Guitar riff that really added emotion to the track? Remember when you couldn't wait for the 12 inch to be released because you where waiting to hear the B Side? When was the last time Prince came out with a nice Slow Jam to get your groove on? I really miss those days! Prince please hit the Dirty Switch.

Joking aside, you can hear all those things in Prince's most recent releases. It's simply that you like those older tracks more, pure and simple.
