BBC RADIO TO AIR 2 HOUR PRINCE SPECIAL The BBC are looking for UK based Prince Fans to take part in a 2 hour musical documentary, which will chart the story of Prince, paying particular emphasis on the mid to late eighties, but including his much ignored (by the media) latest work.
They are seeking anyone based in the UK who would be willing to be interviewed for this programme. In particular they are looking for fans who attended the Xenophobia Celebrations this year. The programme sounds very promising. They have already spoken with many important figures in the Prince world, including band members, collaborators, and members of previous management.

Are we seeing the beginnings of the European tour build up i wonder?
Prince would be mad not to tour and release something on the back of this. Radio 2 has the most numbers of listeners in the UK! Unfortunately I am in Germany for the next month, otherwise I would have volunteered! Cmon Brits, volunteer and put in some plugs for the man and what he is up to...

I am not sure who the contact is, I received this info from a supplier of "unreleased" material and they had their address as the contact. Don't really want to name them here for fear of them being shut down, or me getting into trouble with the mods.

This is likely to be a Radio 2 show. Mica Paris hosted a Soul music series on R2 last year and played "The Work Pt1" on a show mentioning the Rainbow Children release.
She is obviously a Prince fan and would be the perfect presenter for this show.

When this is produced I hope it's broadcast on the 'net (through whatever means so folks can hear it "That...magic, the start of something revolutionary-the Minneapolis Sound, we should cherish it and not punish prince for not being able to replicate it."-Dreamshaman32
