My bizarre Prince dream last night I dreamt last night that Prince threw a gig in Blackpool in the UK on the street. The audience were all packed together together on the beach watching him. He did a couple of numbers and there was a commotion in the crowd.
A fire engine drove away through the crowd and Prince commented 'Dusty Springfield will sort that out for you'. He then performed 'The Cross' to close the show and I woke up. How much psychiatric help do I need? | |

Your dream reminded me that I actually remembered one of mine. I dreamt that I was at 3121, and after a set break, was walking back into the club with my boyfriend, Prince and the band, and Prince was carrying a half a watermelon on a serving platter. So the show went on, and one of the twinz broke a heel while dancing and fell onto the floor of the stage, bearing her white panties with her all black dancewear. The other one then tackled her to spare the sister of embarrassment  . Prince just rolled his eyes.
That's all I remember, but I'd like to know what the hell happened to the watermelon.  A prince never lacks legitimate reasons to break his promise. | |

Prince was in one of my dreams last night, too.
The only thing I remember is thinking that his hair looked like crap.  We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. | |

I never wanted to post anything about my Prince dreams but now I feel pretty normal. I had several dreams about meeting him before I actually met him. Then after I met him had several dreams about his concerts. Or some where he would just appear out of nowhere. | |

I once had a Prince dream too. Prince was driving me in this Jeep to his concert, and I was kissing his ass by praising every album he'd ever made.
Then when we got out of the car, I was a little child and he was holding my hand to get us across the street. Very strange. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

How many in here had dreams about Prince...raise your hands? It's your subconscience that brings up what you really wish for. Wow! I just stumbled across this thread for some reason, and I have Prince concert dreams like, twice a year. It's never just me and him, it's me at one of his concert (the only way I've ever really seen him in person). Sometimes, I'm struggling to get there on time, or struggling over what to wear. Other times, and these are the good dreams, he's either singing songs that I've developed the stage set for, or the costumes for, and they are always wonderful. But the best dreams are the dreams, and these are the rarest of all of my dreams, where Prince is on stage, singing songs I wrote, in costumes I designed, and on a set I built, and sometimes when I wake up, those songs are leaving my head, like mist disappearing on a crisp spring morning, through most of the five holes in my head. I can hum the tunes for awhile, or whistle them, but lacking the ability to transcribe them onto paper, they vanish, and I am content w/ just memories of the feelings that they gave me for a moment. I have no background in singing, costume designs, or set building, it's probably important that you know. I'm just telling you some of my Prince dreams. "Plaid shorts are completely over." | |

Yep this thread's gonna be a good one! I drempt of Prince a few times, most of which I couldn't post!!! 
The very first one was when I was about 15, I was in an empty dance studio and I was facing the mirrors trying out a few moves I was wearing a flowing white dress. Then Prince walked in and was watching me from the top of the dance studio, I stopped after awhile cause I was embarresed, he came over and we started dancing together, he was turing me around and around all over the dance studio telling me I was a wonderful dancer, I was looking up into his eyes and felt I was falling in love.....(can't belive I remember this!!) I am actually a dancer now believe it or not! I remember watching the film 'Laberynth' before I went to bed that night.....you know the one with David Bowie and Jennifer Connolly (i think thats her name!)??? there is a bit in it where she has a hilucination after eating a poisoned peach and she's dancing with David Bowie in a ballroom and I remember thinking 'I'd love that to be me and Prince' hahaha ..... I can't belive I just told all you that, I've never told anyone  All of me I give 2 thee down at your feet

Since we're on the subject and I don't care who knows, my most memorable Prince dream was one where one of my girlfriends and I met Prince after the show, he came back to my parents' house (I don't live there, but in my dream I did) and we went into this rec room where my 50-something aunt and 29-year old brother were shooting pool  .
There was a king sized bed in the room as well, and he asked that I lay on my back on the bed  , and of course I obliged. Then he asked my friend Gina to lay on her back on top of me  and he started kissing on her and I was just laying beneath getting pissed, all the while my ultra-conservative aunt and older brother are watching.
I had a loud sigh that Prince must've heard, and he lifts his from Gina's stomach and says to me quietly "You'll get your turn". But I woke up, and thank God - no sloppy seconds for this girl.[Edited 11/28/06 13:59pm] A prince never lacks legitimate reasons to break his promise. | |
