How to make a golden mike If you want to be like Prince just for one day, make your own golden mike !
1 – Buy a spray can of golden paint – not the one you use for Christmas, you fool !!!- a plastic mike (cheap shops), instant glue (avoid neoprene) and a fake gun (I’ve been lucky, mine was already golden !) and voila, soon you’ll be a sexy MF ! 
2- First of all, place your mike head on the top of a stick (here, it’s a brush), then spray the paint on – about seven to eight inches close. 
Do not wear your Sunday best (like the fool below) or your NPG party outfit ! 
3- Let it dry for 10-20 minutes.
4- Once it’s done, glue it on the gun with instant glue – avoid neoprene, because it melts the plastic once it’s mixed with the paint !!!! 
5- Come back a week later, grab it an here you are, prancing around pretending to be Prince (not easy when you are 6 feet 6 tall !)  [Edited 11/28/06 10:47am] | |

First - it wasn't the aim.
Second - I know it's not close to anything that Prince would wear, just the hat, and even ! Third - Don't worry mate, you'll forget it quickly. Er, I tought the orgers had a little more humour... I haven't been rude at all, and I love Prince enough not to insult him when I do that ! | |

Does anyone have a recommendation on how 2 get something goldplated for real? I have a few items that i would like to have real gold laid over. Any ideas? | |

do you have any customizing body shops in your area.
