While it certainly wasn't an earth-shattering exchange, Prince once spoke directly to me from about three feet away.
At the last Celebration our group was having our TRC post-listening rap session. A young female staffer was facilitating -- very badly -- and Kevin Smith was filming. Without any notice, Prince walked into the room, crossed over and sat right in front of me. He could tell that things weren't going well and jumped into the discussion to try and salvage it. At one point he asked, "Do you believe the Bible?" I spoke up and said, "Which version?" He turned around, looked directly into my eyes and said, "That's a good question." He then turned back around and continued addressing the group. Like I said, it wasn't a life-changing moment or anything, but it was cool. Peace, David | |
