I'd say the opposite... Star Wars = more varied, gritty, universe with reality based exaggerations of textures, culture, sounds, military, politics... Star Trek = more theatrical/conceptual moral based narratives with more "fake" sets and gaudy costumes and more "stagey" aliens and depictions of culture... I would say both are apples and oranges. Really.
Although both usually fall in the "pop" category and they both tend to lean to a falsetto, they are still very different. Just like SW and ST, both fall in the "SciFi" category, they are both VERY different. All Rights Reserved. |

Oh come on, are we actually debating this? Prince is Star Wars all the way.
He's quirky, colourful, intensely spiritual, can't necessarily be labeled any one thing, and above all, FUN. That is Star Wars summed up. MJ, on the other hand is totally Star Trek. Played out, strictly one genre, and totally washed up. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.
