Amidst the chaos of the potential/actual new album release and discussion of Princes commerciality, I found it interesting to hear a snippet of "I would Die 4 U" on a TV advert for a new dance album. Indeed, Track one of the new “Clubmix Ibiza 2002” album is a remix of I Would Die 4 U, by The Space Cowboy. Just wondered if anyone had heard it. Goes to show that Prince is still commercially viable, even if it’s through remixes of the classics. The new stuff we can keep for ourselves and let those club DJ's remix it for the masses in a few decades.

The Space Cowboy remix had sold enough copies to be a massive UK hit, possible No.1, but a blunder in the formatting of the CD meant that the whole CD was over the permitted length to be classed as a single and could not be given a chart placing.

where's the fuckin' creativity in it ??
What's so great in looping 4 bars of an old tune, add some filters & fx on it and put this boring boom-boom drums on top of it ??
People must be deaf, they just hear low frequencies,
i don't see other explanations.
