See ya, Tony. At least the Vader voice, though excessive, is something distinctly Princely. Tony is just a bad, generic rapper who never sounded like he belonged in those Prince songs. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

Darth Vader for sure. I don't mind a narration if it adds to the concept, but the way the narration is done on TRC its a big distraction from the message. If he wanted that type of vibe why not just call James Earl Jones?
Like Dan said, it's the only minus point on an otherwise brilliant album. I love this album so it's frustrating for me when P can't control his desire to bang you upside the head with overkill. The only problem with Tony M is that his style was too smooth to fit a wannabe gangsta image. He wasn't bad to look at so I ain't mad at him. Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

Same here! I wish I could get past the voice to really enjoy the music, but I just can't Tony M., however I can deal with, He even has the occasional shinning moment. His rap on Willing and Able, isn't so bad. If you will, so will I
