I know that Prince tragically lost his first child with Mayte to a rare birth condition. However I would still like to see him have children one day (although based on his age it may not happen). I think it would be especially interesting if he had a son or daughter that was musically inclined like himself. What do you guys think?

How bizarre... I'm contemplating the impending birth of my first child, and I was thinking about the exact same question earlier on today.

No opinion. Just odd how two single people shared one single thought.

I hope he does one day, but it's up to him and his lady. He would probably have to take some time off from performing, and who knows if he'll ever want to do that.

I don't see age as an issue.

1- My grandfather had children at about 50 and he's still alive and enjoying his great grandchildren.
2- My father had the 10th child, my little brother at 40.
2- My ex-husband is 54 and we had a baby last year. He has more energy than I do when it comes to play with her.

I read in an article that Prince was the one carrying the syndrome of the Pfieffer disease, he might be scared of living that same tragedy another time and I would't blame him. Better safe than sorry.
Also, if he really wanted children, he would have tried again or maybe adopted so maybe he's not wanting any.

I think he should just adopt. Starting with a few of his fans.

When I was 14,I really wished he was my father, since I grew up without one. I had all kind of dreams of us hanging out, and doing normal family stuff together. I feel a little differently about him now I'm sure he'd make a wonderful father to another lucky kid.

I don't know folks if this is something that he really wants then I'm sure it would happen for him. Alot of people speak on how he has a great heart. He gets a bad rap sometimes and again we don't know him so at times some of it could be warranted. People do get attitudes from time to time. So in all if it were to happen for him I think he would make a great father.

**Just my opinion. I think he and Mani may still be together. Someone went to 3121 and met Prince they were talking about languages and Prince said that he spoke a little of everything because his wife speaks Italian. Not to mention Mani's sites says they are still married. In my opinion I hope they are still together. Yeah!!

They're not still together!! He was talking about Mayte when he said that his wife spoke different languages, so he's picked some up over the years.

Probably not. And it's such a shame. He has so much of a legacy to pass on.

This is true that Mayte spoke several different languages, However, Mani I believe is both Egyptian and Italian. And she probaly speaks the language as well.

You know they could have reconciled. The does happen you know.

Maybe he saw me in his dream cause I speak 4 languages including Spanish and Arabic.
