OGRES!

Although most of you have probably been able to see the ceremony by now, for those of you that haven't, or wish to record the show, it will
be shown on VH-1 in the USA on Friday 24th and Saturday November 25th @ 9pm (EST) and then repeated again at 11pm (EST)



See how good we are to you lot? Hell, we'd even come over and press record for you and tuck you into bed with some milk and cookies if we could.

But we won't...because that would be a little odd, even for us - as much as we all love you dearly.

Thanks to a call from a friend, I was able to catch Prince's appearance on Friday night (twice!) on VH1 Classic. The tribute was excellent with comments from both his friends and others in the business. Prince was pretty much his usual shy self when accepting the award. I thought he made a much longer speech than he usually does, but only seemed a tad more relaxed. He said he was much more comfortable playing than talking and when you watch his body language, you can tell that's the truth because he's so much more confident then.
Tell you what, it just DON'T MAKE NO SENSE that anyone should be THAT fine at his age!!

I was going to say I was sad that P didn't per4m. I was looking 4ward 2 it.

But then I remember how shy he is rumored 2 B, and how his voice cracked a bit b4 the end, and I remembered that I wouldn't want 2 B speaking 2 an audience as BIG as that one was... much less 1 filled with the likes of Eric Clapton, Sir Paul McCartney and Beyonce.

He did great (and looked SO 'rock star cool') and deserved every bit of the award, esteem, applause and standing ovation he received.

A delight. Plain and simple.

It's nice to see Pharell giving so much respect to Prince....

On another note, Salma Hayek looked delicious in her clips talking about Prince.

lmao did anyone notice that as he turned away he was smiling really big and had this look on his face like "hehe i got a trooppphyy nananana boooboooo" ...I KNEW he was trying to act too cool for this thing during the whole speech!!



I blushed at that smile, he prolly was screaming in the dressing room lol

He paused for a sec, looked at the audience and said something like: "I don't like speeches, and I'm a bit nervous right now. Kind of wish my band were here. Ironically, while the 9 p.m. VH-1 coverage was on, over on Comedy Central they showed the SNL with Prince performing "Fury".
