Printablenot about prince, but it took me until 2000 or so to relize/believe that Lisa and Wendy were lesbians and had been lovers.

And rehearsed...and rehearsed...and rehearsed...and... No, its just the choreographer who was named is a guy whose style of dancing is very different from Prince's. I just found out his name he is Darrin Henson and he's worked with a lot of boy bands, and teen sensations. I can't really see Prince doing that super-structured, Micheal Jackson derived type of dance.  If you will, so will I | |

1999 just popped up on my play list. “Hmmm,” I says to myself, as I lower the heat on the stove, place my scrambled eggs on the back burner, and putter off to scribble down a few notes.
I’m sure this idea is far fetched…after all he was “dreaming when he wrote this”, but could P have been singing about his impending battle w/ WB in ‘1999’? Let’s examine: "I was dreamin' when I wrote this, so sue me if I go 2 fast But life is just a party and parties weren't meant 2 last War is all around us, my mind says prepare 2 fight So if I gotta die, I'm gonna listen 2 my body 2night Yeah, they say 2000 zero zero party over, oops, out of time! So 2night I'm gonna party like it's 1999! (Yeah, yeah)" I don’t know what happened w/ WB exactly, but I know it wasn’t pretty. I know there were threats of lawsuits. “Sue me if I go too fast…” Then in ‘93 P changed his name to the Symbol, for what turned out to be seven years (“all 7 and we’ll watch them fall…”), and didn’t reclaim it until 2000. "2000 zero zero party over, oops, out of time!" Indeed, he would have good reason to party like it’s ‘1999’. Enough. Off I go to gorge myself on the scrambled embryos of the mighty Chicken.
