Things are going very poorly there. Last I heard, The Kid was forced to offer potential buyers a lap dance from The Twinz and a free copy of Kamasutra if they bought a ticket. 'Course, that drove 'em away even more.

I heard that in an emergency maneuver to generate ticket sales the prop comic legend Gallagher was hired as an opening act.

Starfish & Watermelons AND Kamasutra....I'm SO there!

i don't think this thread is asking for opinions on the whole Vegas idea, moreso the results of it. that's why I wrote so far so good, based on my experience, and concerts reports. they are not fact on actual sales but it is obviously not a flop. we have many more weeks to go to make that determination, but like i said, so far so good from what i see/read.

I hear he's doing very well.

A single night at the RIO could easily pay for his hip replacement surgery. eek

I was at the Rio the Saturday after Thanksgiving - not to see the show, but just to check it out. The line wasn't as long as it was the first night, but I was told it was still sold out. It was strange because there were 5 or 6 cops standing around, which I don't remember the first night. IN general, I think sales and response is doing well so far.

I understand, but you didn't think I was a "Hater" did ya ?
opinions fly 24/7 it's a message board lol
I would LOVe for this to work so that something good comes of it for
not just P but everyone in their biz. He's a GREAT performer, but not the ONLY one. P is just the most consistant. which makes ANY artist GREAT over time.
let us NOT FORGET "his" first time at bat.
