i just don´t understand why he never picked that song up again
since it´s very anthemic and it´s got a religious message that
still fits with his current beliefs.

plus it´s just a total rock out if he stretches the guitarsolo
for miles and miles.

and after he walks off stage the crowd can keep going nananana
untill he comes back out for the encore

OMG YES!!! headbang I've had that EXACT SAME FANTASY ABOUT THAT SONG!!! lol

As for me, I dont want him to do any hits...just obscure jams, maybe a couple hits, re worked....and The Dance Electric is also another song that still fits with his current beliefs. I want him to do that song so bad...and also Lady cab driver

confused OHHHHH NOOOOO not "KISS"... Why Electric Blue..???

It was Sooooo Koooool 2 go 2 see

"HAPPY FEET" & THAT was the first song I heard.

Prince also did a fantastic job on "The Song Of The Heart."

But I had 2 wait til the very end of the movie and watch the

credits..( He sang the song then) If I had not known the

song was in the movie I would have missed it, "Cause I don't

usually stay 4 them...

Upon it's release, I remember stating to a friend just how perfect the title track from '3121' would be as an electrifying show opener. Done in the right way, it would have the audience eating out of his hand before he'd even set foot on stage...

Bearing in mind that around 15 years ago I saw a very small-scale aftershow where he opened with 'Come' - and jammed on that m.f. for about 10minutes - all behind the stage curtain...and let me tell you - it was absolutely incendiary.

To me, it's almost too late to tour for 3121. He needs to release another cd and tour with that.

He'd start with She's Always In My Hair, meander through the Parade album, caress Lovesexy and then go into a break with a spangly version of Raspberry Beret. He'd come back, all afresh with a smile on his face and a Hot Thing on his lips, then he'd Billy Jack Bitch and Get Wild. He'd let the sweat evaporate with a calm rendition of Forever In My Life, swiftly followed with a tongue in cheek Vicky Waiting, then he'd crank up the band, via 7 (Madhouse NOT that religious song!), and send out a pulsating I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man. He'd send everyone into orgasm with a triumphant Alexa De Paris, then he'd announce that it was time to play; a journey through Dirty Mind, Controversy and 1999 would follow, ending with a near and damn-it recording version of When Doevs Cry. To bring about a finale, Prince would bring us to our kness with Last December, Family Name, What's My Name and end, controversially, with a full-on, loud and proud, My Name Is Prince!

When we'd all stoped crying, he would re-emerge to encore with Cream, Sign O The Times and If I Was Your Girlfriend.

Leaving us begging for more, a medley of all his other hits would play us out into the car-park.... it would only be at this time that people would begin to ask "What about....?", "He didn't play...?" etc.

Marvellous.

"Doevs" are a special type of caged bird, that actually enjoy the idea of not flying anywhere becasue, quote, "It's too much bother".

I meant Doves... Obv.
