"The Dance" is what I hope to be next but it may be too grand for the simple (folks). The grown and sexy would be all over it! well i'm a teenager and i love "love" To be clear: My quote is "I am not sure all of the teens and tweens would get it." Obviously the young people here would get it because you are on board with Prince. I am not teen bashing, trust. Keep sharing with your peers. A peer (I knew when I was a teen) hipped me to Depeche Mode (they had been making albums for 10 years by then), I couldn't believe I was missing out! I tried to get some friends on board and they chose Guy and Jodeci, ect. Some kids may pick Jay-Z or K-Fed over Prince or choose some combo of the three.

I listened to the album last night on my way home from work and...I'm gonna change my vote to Love.
the word is cool, but love is "hipper" and has a better hook IMHO. "not a fan" yeah...ok

It was good hearing 3121 again, but now I don't know. It's not clear cut. The one I'd want to choose(Incense and Candles) has this one part that I'm not crazy about. The one that still makes me want to dance most is The Word but I feel conflicted about dancing to "the Word". Not only this but I just realized that he's breathing all thru the intro...talk about mixed messages all over the place. If I'm ever at one of those WOW conventions, this is the song I'd want to Jam to Jesus with. But I don't see that happening. The song I enjoyed most is The Dance, but that will end up on a movie soundtrack at some point and will be a hit anyway. I'll just wait for that. It might be too epic on its own. If he does a smaller version in Vegas, then that would be my choice. BL&B not only sounds good, it sounds better. It's a nice jam too. Need a little more time for this one. Maybe BL&B, though. Have you decided which song to choose? Let me know by Sunday night if possible. "Plaid shorts are completely over."

Out of an outstanding 1242 views since this post was originally made, 742 of you voiced your opinions.
Here are my findings: "Love"-leads with 16 votes "Lolita" is second, with 12 votes. "The Word" comes in third, 8 votes, "Incense & Candles" and "the Dance" tie with 4 votes each. "3121" and "Beautiful, Loved, and Blessed" each received one vote. Now, I haven't voted yet, and want to close the polls on this this weekend....so I'm voting, and I'm voting for "Lolita". Don't get me wrong, I like so many of the other songs too (I was so torn with "Love", good Lord, I'm so conflicted here, I can't even talk about it yet!) I just think "Lolita" will do wonders on the radio charts. It's peppey, dance-y, it's got a wonderful hook, and it should do well all of the age groups uncer consideration. Let's do this through Sunday at noon CST. So, as of this posting, that makes: "Love"-leads with 16 votes "Lolita" is second, with 13 votes. "The Word" comes in third, 8 votes, "Incense & Candles" and "the Dance" tie with 4 votes each. "3121" and "Beautiful, Loved, and Blessed" each received one vote. We're wrapping this up soon so get your votes in!!!1 "Plaid shorts are completely over."

Hmmm...I don't know how to answer this question. Trust me, I've been thinking about it. What if a song became so popular, a video HAD to be filmed? Not saying that the music is secondary because it's not, but we live in a culture that sometimes has to be told how to view things...what to associate with things...or that something different can be good. . I would love to see The Dance as a video but it would have to be so epic and probably expensive. Love has the most potential to spread virally. In fact, YouTube and a bunch of inexpensive and amateur fan videos could be good. Especially if it's a dance off kinda thing.
For this reason my answer is (Video or No official video) : Love Why do you like playing around with my narrow scope of reality? - Stupify
