Hot Thing White Label remixes Today I bought a white label remix of "Hot Thing." There are two remixes:
Side 1 remix: 6:48 Side 2 remix: 5:38 Both are high bpm club songs. I don't know the exact number is, but it's in the 134 bpm range (if I'm counting correctly). It's a good techno beat. They use Prince's vocals, but only a line or two. They use the "Hot Thing" scream, then the line "Hot thing, tell me what you see... when you smile..." So I guess they would really be dubs rather than the full vocals. They use a lot of the original song and add a pretty cool dance beat over it. It doesn't sound cheesy at all. I think it's one of the more successful dance remixes of his old songs. It's up there with "Die 4 U," and it uses his vocals. I live in LA, and I got it at Perfect Beat in West Hollywood.

This is not music.
This is bullshit. And here is what i called a real rip off. These guys are ACTUALLY making money on Prince back, and will not pay anything for the use of the samples. FUCK ALL THIS DJ WHITE LABEL THING. I'd really like to know Prince opinion about it.

Its cool when Prince gets played at clubs, reminds alot of people about him and they start digging him again and pulling out their old Prince CD's.
