My friend works at FYE and asked me if I heard anything about a new Prince live CD (he knows Im obsessed with Prince). He says alot of people have been coming in asking about this CD. I guess the word is starting to get out.

general public my ass.. they are the same people that always go to the record stores prior to a new release from prince, asking if the store has heard anything new about the release. these people are the ever loyal prince fans.

I would assume the diehard fans already know about it and frequent his web site.

The diehard fans know that Prince rarely delivers on his promises.
And when he does, it always takes him a couple of years which translates into "coming soon" in Princebonics.

I was watching Headline News on Saturday night and there was a blurb at the bottom of the page that said "One Night Alone-Prince to release first live album ever. Release date unknown". I was totally surprised. Is this possibly the same thing as the (never to see the light of day) Xenophobia box set that the NPGMC is talking about?
