Prince doesn't celebrate any holidays so I can't imagine him standing in the cold waving on some float for what he doesn't believe in.

Heeyyy.. .it's not that cold out here. Today was the first cold day - no higher than 50. We have had over 60 to mid 60s for the past couple of weeks. Plus Prince is from Minneapolis, our cold is a piece of cake compared to Minne. That will be cool if he does come to NYC. I don't know about his spirituality and it's not my biz to know but if he a JW then he won't be doing this. If he's not doing the parade, he should make them take his name down. They could already have the "subject to change" factored in but are still doing it for the draw. This only works to their advantage but will only make him appear to be a hypocrite and when he doesn't show, a flake.

with a head as big as his, i wouldn't be surprised if he were there. he'd take out half the parade crowd if somebody accidentally let go of one of them strings they got to keep him from floating away.

Awesome! Hey it's a Prince peformance on t.v. i dont give a hoot what it's for! All i know is i'll get to see a prince peformance and that will shirley beat the hell out the luxington's high school marching band or whatever it is. I tell ya. Prince fans (some of them) don't seem to realize how great they got it. Really very very very few other artist realse this many albums and peform this much. If there was no Prince some of you.... would probaly be Michael Jackson fans, and you only get 2 albums and 1 tour per deacade!

I used to believe that Prince should have had his own float. Can you imagine a Prince float around the Diamonds and Pearls era with his Typhoon hairdo and tied up shirts all up in the sky in Manhattan? Crazy thought I know
