Favourite dance moves...? Couple of my fave Prince moves:
(a) the hair-gel swipe - usually after executing perfect splits, or twist, Prince will often cooly lick his fingers then wipe his hair back, putting it back into perfect position. So fucking cool. (b) the synchronised guitar steps. Like his "ELECTRIC CHAIR" performance on SNL, or Purple Rain "BABY I'M A STAR" when he dances left then right with his two flanking guitarists, while all three play guitar, in rhythm. Love that Minneapolis funky dance shit. | |

Second one comes from the Lovesexy concerts when in Kiss he pumps the air while in the push up position, drop into a split and pop up and bend cat over and kick a leg over. Some fine dance moves back in the day.  | |

And when he did "When Doves Cry" live on that Syracuse concert tape... shuffling his feet real fast. That was tight.
