Who takes them down? I know since Google bought them hundreds of thousands of things have been removed. I'm sick to death of Youtube by now. Now Xtube and Porntube still has something to catch my interest.

see what i dont get is for a long time (i dont know about now) music videos were free to the video channels that wanted to show them thats why there were so many local video shows in the 80's and they are great for promotion and they do no harm being on youtube.. in fact video's being on youtube could only help an artist acquire new fans...why on earth wouldn't an artist want his videos on there?

the other day an artist named Tamia had put P-Control on her myspace page....just the song and that was deleted within a few hours.....so the prince camp is hard at work to prevent sharing or unauthorized usage of his music and videos.....but this makes sense since he is one of the most bootlegged artists of all time

Universal have taken action against MySpace for allowing users to
post videos or songs by artists under their contracts.
Theres every chance that they have taken the same steps against
youtube.
