prince atlanta 80-all about the music i must say that atlanta omni 1980 rick james opening act peformance by prince and his band(with gayle on keyboards) is one of his best ever peformances.
he was very young and he had to prove something. he was opening for rick james but audiance liked prince more. peformance was very energetic,prince sang great played a lot of guitar(check out maybe the best version of i wanna be your lover prince plays distorted rock guitar on that one) band was great bobby z best drumming is on atlanta 1980 recording. and whats most importent it was all about the music,it wasnt about showmanship | |
