Not sure if this is old news, but I found a page on Myspace that had excerps from Smith's upcoming dvd in which he speaks about his meeting with Prince. Apparently he contacted Prince to ask him for permission for using TMBGITW for Jay and Silent Bob 2. Prince turned him down, but asked Smith to film a documentary for him at Paisley Park. The piece is actually quite long, but is VERY funny. Kevin Smith talks about how Prince had him do all this work for a week, unpaid, and then didn't even say goodbye or thank you. Makes you wonder about Prince.
