Barry Manilow mentions Prince during show

Just got back from Vegas. Saw a few shows but couldn't see the Prince show due to a prior commitment. Anyway, I saw the Barry Manilow show and he mentioned artists that are in Vegas for long term engagements. He mentioned that the "African American Prince is at the Rio and the Jewish American Prince is playing at the Hilton." This brought a big laugh from the crowd.

Anyway, I know BM is more for the older crowd, but the show was really good and full of energy. He's a great performer. I can't say that much for Celine Dion. We saw her too and I actually fell asleep during the show. She's a great singer but seeing her in person is not worth the money. Plus,,,how can someone with so much talent singing have no rhythm dancing.

Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
