i LOVE vintage stores... Just thought i'd take this time to show off what I found while filming for a movie I'm working on for school.
So, I'm at this vintage store just chillin looking around because we had done the filming already, and what do i find?! 
the world tour book -- in my hands!! it HAD 2 be mine, i mean, it was hidden - and all of a sudden BAM!!! there it is... so,  i just thought i'd share my special moment with you all.

as u were. or were not. [Edited 11/11/06 13:57pm] Yes, vintage record stores are cool. Where else can you find some rare "for promotional use only" 12 inches (without paying outlandish prices on Ebay). Also, I like the smell of these shops (I know it is dust, but hey...) |

 the thing is,it wasn't even a record store, it's a vintage clothing store that just happened to have a bin of some records, some VHSs and some books, i happened to go digging and...

Ohhh I know that feeling. My Prince contact has got a lot of mags on hold for me. And I just got the book "Purple Reign" from him for $10. Got some promos and other stuff. I get soooo He's got some more vinyl waiting for me too!!

Next time your in Hollywood, Ca. go to Amobeia Music on Sunset Blvd. and you can die and go to heaven. They have tons of great items. You can get ANY pricne album.... and have great collection of old 12" inces last time i went there i picked up 12" of Kiss and then i got this bootleg type thing they had a whole bunch of different 12" one there. (Kiss, I wana be your lover, le grid, housequake etc.) My friend got some 12" also i forget which ones, they also have entire bin just for Prince 45's I didnt find anything that really crabed my attention last time, but i did get a Mountains 45 with Alexa De Paris on the b-side. | |
