What's is Prince's best vocal run (singing performance on record or live)

I was reading the July 2004 issue of Guitar Player magazine with Prince as the cover story and in the article he mentioned how "guitarists should listen to singers for solo ideas-especially women singers. Women haven't had a chance to run the world yet, so you still hear the blues in their singing. Try to play one of the runs that Beyonce or Ella Fitzgerald does and you will surely learn something." I want to know which song or live performance does Prince give his best vocal run (ad-libs, phrasing, pitch, rhythm etc). Personally one of my faves is "Electric Man" from the Nude Tour show August 31, 1990, when he goes "i..i..i..ay.i..i...yi.yay..."

For some reason, "The Beautiful Ones" and "Te Amo Corazon" come to mind.
"You make me so con-fused..." (I play that line over and over.)
"My heart, my heart, my heart...corazon."

I agree about "Damn U" too.

nah I'm just suffering from a typing aphasia
lol

yes, the very ends of Solo & Still Would Stand All Time remind me of guitar runs a little.

Miles Davis said he was listening to guitar lines and learning from their phrasing, but he was running out of breath because of it!

Playing the guitar using vocal, phrasing--room for breathing included--can make your playing sound more musical

I am going with The Beautiful Ones live in toronto 04, Question of U/The One San Diego 04 and tied in third is Another Lonely Christmas (Super Extended Rub a Dub Mix) for all of U stat people I know it's not real but it has verses that are not included in the normal version and it runs around 10 mins long a lot of screaming and I guess singing. That my top three.

Though I think all of Prince's vocal work is excellent, I especially love Adore & Insatiable.
