FAM:
I had to be there so I went to the 11/11 show on the Saturday night. Our boy showed out even though he "only" played for an hour and 45 minutes! . The last minute up charge to get the dinner , and , a table guaranteed for the show with a bottle was a little unsettling since we found out once we goton the Fan Club line . I hope in the future the emails to the former NPG club bers will spell it out so people could prepare. I mean I had paid $1100 dollars for a last munute flight from Newark,NJ, the $125 already, to only hear if you paid th additional $200 per ticket.....! It was a bit much! They did eventually allow the Fan clubbers, with our special arm wrist bands, early access to the room so we could carve our spots out on the floor before the real General Admission folk, I'd say almost an hour or so before they got in.

Other than the upcharge scenario it was great! Prince and the Twinz worked the room, walking around during his performance or dancing(TWINZ) on some stantions in the corners of the dance floor. The sound was on point, almost as good as some of the Xenophobia performances at Paisley Park. Some of the usuals were there like "Bobby" from California dressed up in a trench coat(with symbol appliques) and top hat with a veil which looked like he was channeling Princes' Tora Tora period.

3121- you don't ever want 2 leave!

Prince Sets up Throne in Vegas

Already home to a hot spot called Rain, Sin City is about to get a dose of Purple Rain.

Prince has announced he's opening a nightclub in Las Vegas at the Rio Hotel & Casino, where he'll perform Friday and Saturday nights beginning Nov. 10.

3121, named after the diminutive artist's latest album, will occupy a 30,000-square-foot space formerly occupied by Club Rio, which since February 2005 has been hosting the topless revue Club Eroticka.

Well, make way for the immaculately tailored frock coats! A hotel spokeswoman said Prince has signed on for an indefinite run.

The dapper performer joins Celine Dion, Elton John, Barry Manilow, Toni Braxton and others who have standing dates in Vegas.

On Wednesdays, 3121 will host concerts by artists signed to Prince's NPG label. The club will be able to hold about 1,500 people, just so long as they're not all partying like it's 1999. People who have gotten lucky at the blackjack tables, that is. Tickets for the 21-and-over shows featuring the Purple One himself will go for $125 a pop—which actually is a bargain considering you can't get in to see Celine for any less than $80.

Those aching to see Prince up close can start purchasing tickets Thursday.

While all signs are pointing to Vegas right now, the R&B-pop star has still managed to be all over the place. This year he showed up on Saturday Night Live, the American Idol finale and the BET Awards, where he won for Best Male R&B Artist. He also entertained awards show revelers with a 90-minute set at the Entertainment Tonight/People party after the Emmys in August.

When not onstage, Prince released a greatest hits album, Ultimate, recorded the tune "Song of the Heart" for the Happy Feet soundtrack and signed up to perform during the Super Bowl halftime show in February.
