once and it was in German... as I don t speak german and don t like much the sound of the langiage it was pretty strange ... P but anyway the story was easy to guess and I just took it as a big VideoClip. I would appreciate anyway to see it in English or French. | |

the ENTIRE film, I'd say I've watched it 14 times..
I've watched bits & pieces INFINITELY. The 2 bits I've watched the most: - Apollnia's "Lake Minnetoka purification" (oh, her breasts...mmm!!!) - Morris & the fellas TEARING IT UP, doing those dance steps & THAT SLIDE at the end of "The Bird".. yeah, I watched that scene OVER & OVER & OVER until I could do those steps, just like they do it.. I LOVE doing those steps now.. just ask anybody who goes to the LovesexyDC parties..!
Oh! & speaking of breasts.. aren't you, Boob, overdue to impress us with another naughty photo displayed with your profile info! "what you waitin' fo, baby?"

Too many times to count. I know just about every line and when it's coming. Can't help it. It's such a great movie. Not great in the sense that the acting is great, but great because of the music and humour and of course, the star of the movie. | |

Around 25 times, i'm almost embarrassed to say. But shit, when that movie came out, it was the bomb. I remember staying up late when i was 15 or so, just to watch in on HBO.
Back in '84, i didn't know P wrote the Time's songs and was one of his side projects--so i really thought Morris and Co were the bad guys. I took it way too seriously. | |

About seeing Purple Rain, I was at a Blockbuster Video store looking around when I came to the P's. I looked on the shelf and there was no Purple Rain there! I was surprised  and  .
Anyway, I did some more looking around and found Purple Rain in the DVD section, but not in the VHS section, which seemed odd to me. | |
