In New Zealand they have a sports round-up programme called "And The Crowd Goes Wild". Of late they have been making great use of Prince's music - using his shitey-awful version of Nothing Compares 2 U for a regular feature on Marat Safin, the Russian tennis player, and, today, using 1999 for a soccer highlights package. Cut back to studio and the presenter, Andrew Mulligan, says "There's not enough Prince used on sports round-ups..." HIs fellow presenter, ex-Kiwi cricketer Mark Richardson, laughed the laugh of a person who recognises an obsessive in their presence. I don't know if it is Mt Mulligan who is getting Prince on air in NZ, but congrats to him.

Getting back to your original question, Thunder was once used to advertise wrestling in the UK. Let's Go Crazy was used in a recent episode of Strictly Come Dancing.

I think one of his songs was used in an episode of Eastenders, spoiled by Ian looking like a misable turd. cant remember what the song was though.
