You're thinking of the song "Do ANything" by Natural Selection. It was a no.2 hit in the fall of 1991. Prince didn't write or record anything for the song, although it does have a connection. The song was co-written by Ingrid Chavez (a former Paisley Park artist and Prince protege). Ingrid was initially supposed to record the female vocals for the song, but due to some scheduling and contract issues, Madonna's back-up singer Niki Harris did the vocals (which sounded just like Ingrid anyway).
The song sounded a LOT like Prince, and a lot of people thought it was his when it came out, especially with the Ingrid connection. And as a final note, Prince did record a song called "I'll Do Anything" in 1992. It's a completely different song, written for, but not used in, the Albert Brooks film of the same title.

That's funny.
That line always made me Maybe he's a Wonder Bread baby. That synthetic stuff is smooth. And if it's really "fresh", it sticks to the roof of your mouth. It's funny that people equate that with fresh as opposed to wrong. Anyway, maybe that was his sandwich bread. Why do you like playing around with my narrow scope of reality? - Stupify
