Ever meet a coworker and find out they love Prince too? I worked with someone for years and they didn't know how much I loved Prince until I brought some Prince stuff into the office, she then confessed she loved Prince too, then she started bringing her Prince books, etc. to work, we ended up going to the One Night Alone concert together.

I'm in grad school waiting for a rehearsal to start. One of the other actors walked in singing the first part of a line from "The Ride". I finished the line, he looks at me and we rolled thick as thieves for the two years we were there. Just because of that one moment. Pretty cool

Funny, this is how me and my (now ex) wife met.
I was playing a tape (yes, this was a few years back) of different instrumental songs at work and when Susanah's Pajamas from The Family album came on, she said "oh, this is Prince... well, it is on an album by The Family, but it is really Prince" I was, of course, totally amazed and I asked her how she knew that. She replied: "I am the number one Prince fan" to which everyone in the room froze because they all knew that I was a total Prince nut and then some It was very funny. A year later, we were married. "Hyperactive when I was small, Hyperactive now I'm grown, Hyperactive 'till I'm dead and gone"

LOL...she's like "I love my man but I just want ONE night with Prince!"

I talked with the coworker (she is so funny and nice), she told me: "im old .... of course I know Prince".... I told her that she aint old at all (just 7 years older than me) and that I listen 2 Prince since I was 11

Yes. I'm a teacher, and when I go to a show, and someone finds out later that I went, he or she will want to know why I didn't invite them along, like I'm the "Prince Party Planner" of our high school.
9 out of 10 times, tho, when I start talking about an event or what we consider "news", I find that they are 'oblivious' to recent Prince, and I come off as fanatical. "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

I hate that "competitive" streak Prince fans tend to have: "I love him more than U"!!!! Sometimes I'll say I'm a fan and just move on, depending on how the conversation goes. Like I was saying earlier, if they are not into him like I am they think I'm 'weird'; if they are, they're looking for a "party planner". I can't be bothered. I have my friends to groove with outside of work. "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

Prince fans are like clouds sometime alone, sometimes gather together sometimes moving faster than a speeding bullet.

I work in a hospital and for some consecutive days in a row in the parking garage I noticed a car with the symbol hanging on the rearview window and a license plate that read Ryde Divine I purposely parked my car that has license plate and embrioded seat covers near this car one day and to my suprise found a note left on my car from him wanting to meet he was doing a med rotation here. we quickly bonded and went to a show together in Birmingham. no romance just Prince pals he's now moved we talk every now and then he may be an orger for all I know . All of my co-workers know that I like to listen to Prince -- but no one at my job seems to embrace his music like I do -- I work in a small office with about 15-17 people and none of them even knew about 3121 -- most of them have heard of Prince and only are familliar with the classics "Purple Rain" and "Little Red Corvette" -- I think it's just a generation gap -- I am anywhere from 7 to 10 years older than most of my co-workers and I am 13 years younger than my oldest co-worker PEACE

Well one of my best friends classmates from radio school's a big fan.
We were set up on a blind date, and had a great time at this old record shop, but he lives in a different state, so it didn't really work out I was so upset! How often do you meet a cute guy who loves Graffiti Bridge?!?!?! (soundtrack and movie ) If you will, so will I

I work at a hospital and most of the people I work with know I'm a Prince lover. Everytime some Prince news comes out, good or bad, it's "Hey, Pat. Did you hear Prince...." I met some very nice people at a Prince gathering, and one I keep in contact with regularly.
