What do you think about the song, The Dance from 3121?
It's a beautiful composed song. It's probably my favorite Prince song of all time. I love it.

just listened to it today on either Slaughterhouse or Chocolate Invasion and I like that version better but that might be just me

The Dance on 3121 is riveting and took me to new depths of musical emotion. But at first it was almost too painful to listen to, i could feel Prince hurt. The sound is so unlike his usual upbeat tracks. The more i heard the Dance, the more i heard. And it really grew on me.
This song feels sad and like something's unfair. He turned his pain into a masterpiece. How could anyone treat him that way? Is Prince really that shy, maybe she never knew?

One of my favorites from 3121, as well. When I first heard that it was going to be on the album, I was trying to imagine what he could do to make it different from the TCI version, or if he was even going to. I was impressed with what he did to it. Great version.

It's haunting to me too, and hard to listen to because it sounds unresolved.

I do love it though, and it is THE song on the albumn.
