I work nights and have a significant drive home. Lately, the trees and sky and everything have been really beautiful. Things I am looking at on this drive are made even more beautiful when I have been listening to Emancipation (disc II BTW) or Lovesexy. That music is so rich, my God. It just adds depth to everything around me. LOVE IT. Just felt like sharing one of those deep Prince+music+spirit moments

Oh when that gold tin box set of remastered 12" mixes came out like 10 years ago, I was in college at the time, and would have a 4 hour drive home to visit my parents. I copied it all to cassette and would play it the whole way home and back, my favorite being the Batdance mix, because by the time I got to that I would be on the freeway driving like 90 .
