Definitely Avalanche. I put that on with some candles and get my freak on. Racism songs always turn on my lady. I also try to bring up terrorists and animal rights to really get her in the mood.

I'd rather be caught in an Avalanche than have to listen to that again.

Are you kidding? Adore.

Is this a joke? cmon, we all know which one is a "better" ballad.. Adore is so complete sounding, its very nicely done, and the layering of the vocals is superb.

Avalanche is very warm feeling, and its a really nice song, and eye'm not sayin this cause its new.. but it doesnt even compete to Adore, or any of his masterpieces...

I absolutely love both of them, so to choose one is not to dog the other in the least.
When I think of ballad, I think of love song, right or wrong, so therefore Adore wins on a technicality. It also wins on overall production. It's just baaad!
BUT, Avalanche -- especially -- the live, up close in person version, was one of the most beautiful, chilling and poignant moments I've ever experienced at a concert. Scroll the Lincoln quote exposing his deep racism, enter Prince's falsetto in rare form. Wow!
Didn't catch all the lyrics at first but on the One Nite Alone CD,it made everything clear.

And, yes, Abraham Lincoln WAS a racist!

Actually eye hated the song Adore when eye first heard it.. it wasnt a favorite untill years later.. and now eye love it.. its great
