Question about the new 3121.com load page - why is it a black load screen and little else?

Personally I am the last on my block to see this new update since I work quirky hours at a TV station, so a little after the noon hour I checked my personal email to see my in-box exploded with all of this 3121.com new update buzz.

Well, I went right to it and logged onto 3121.com.

It was a black screen and has remained a black screen, today, Thursday, 26 Oct., until there was a slight change -- a flash load page.

Now all I see is a mainly thin blue/purple bar with white starting to cover the line up. I believe it's 75-percent complete, but for about five hours today, the page would not load. As well the flash file seems to have just stopped.

How large is slideshow07.swf? I looked in my cache and saw it listed as 999kb. Is this right? Cant be, could it?

Anyone else having this problem? Where are you seeing this info about all the artists being asked to perform at the new 3121 club at The Rio in Vegas? Sure I trust and respect J7 of TheBumpSquad.com, but how did you get the new images and the new info? Serpan? Chastity?

I have emptied my cache and history (not cookies) and control F5, and still black screen with blue / purple bar line with white about 75 percent complete.

What happens next? Anyone?

Shall I just turn off my computer and reboot and check 3121.com early Friday before work?

just so you know what you are missing, screen shots for the entire flash:

Try emptying your temp internet files folder. Sometimes an older file blocks the download of the new one: Internet Explorer-Tools-Internet Options-General-delete files. (oh I see you've done that)

Also try installing the latest version of Flash player:

Finally, just wait a while, it might take a longer time than usual to download with all the interest in it right now.

It's weird, and I'm a tech-savvie dude but this is perplexing. Had somewhat of a similar problem when flash updated and I could not see anything on Tamaronline.com or the Twinz' web site. Now I can, but not 3121.com, currently.

Trying to remedy the situation. I'm not losing much after reading the posts here and on Housequake.com, but want to be in the loop, you know?

(UPDATE)

I just emptied my cache again, including the offline cache, and that seemed to do the trick. I know I have the latest Adobe Flash (so weird saying Adobe now instead of Macromedia) but forwatever reason when I initially cleaned my cache yesterday, I didn't get the new update on 3121.com.

I like it, it's nice. Looking forward to November 2006 and the tour reports.

That image of Sheila is from her web site and an advertisement for the drum kit she uses. A lot of the images on 3121.com are promo shots easily found on the web and the artist's web sites.

Still, her's is quite impressive. For a while when it was featured on her site, it was put to music and made into flash animation with a "Hollyrock" musical bed. Very sweet. Every few seconds when the drum beat hits on a downbreat, the image changes.

I'm having trouble with the site. I think my computer is too slow.
