I Don't Get It? I was just reading an article about Mani's company dated July, 2006. In the article. It stated that Mani divides her time bewteen Minneappolis and Toronto with her husband which I assume is Prince, so that article in The Star Tribune about her filing for divorce on May 24, 2006 must be misinformation or an outright lie.

I personally don't think the divorce thing was a lie or misinformation. There are too many reliable folks who also said that it is true. Plus, we haven't seen them together in a year and a half. Logically speaking, I just don't see how they could still be together. I think sometimes when stories are written the writers don't have all the info or report things in error. Look how many articles have been written about Prince that we have all laughed our asses off about b/c they have been so grossly inaccurate. I guess it's possible that it's not true (about the divorce filing), but I doubt it. Just my

so why do you think she's still referred to as his wife at her site?

Well, 'm thinkin' the divorce hasn't been finalized yet, and they r still good friends, regardless of their irreconcilable differences. Just a thought.

Sometimes when an article is written, months pass when it's published. It may not be up to date. More recent mags, such as Nov. Marie Claire (p 184) which has an advertisement for Altru clearly state divorce is in progress.

Yeah, it just sounds like the article you are reading has got its information from some old press release and hasn't bothered updating its facts.

Just because divorce papers were filed at the end of May doesn't mean it's been finalized. My parents got a simple no fault divorce and they aren't wealthy. It took 8 months for the whole thing to be done. There is much more money involved in this. I would imagine it takes time to do all of the back and forth that goes on in a situation like this. Just a thought...
