UK fans ordering Prince Merch from MusicToday.com??

First thing, Mods - If this is in the wrong place, feel free to move it - I'm a resident lurker, so my posting placement may be a little off...

Anyway, it took me a while to rediscover the link to this store --> http://stores.musictoday....555&sfid=2 (what with the 3121 website going AWOL for a time), but I've just rediscovered it and wondered what UK/Non US fans' experiences were with the site (I'm from the UK btw)...

The help pages goes on for an age about Customs charges and states that the site doesn't track international shippings (that could take up to 5 weeks - even without customs problems!)

I was just curious as to whether any UK/International fans had these sorts of problems when ordering/receiving their stuff. Are these sorts of customs/delivery issues likely/common, or is it just a case of the website "covering their backs" incase something goes wrong?

I didn't want to spend (what I consider to be) an arm and a leg on Prince gear if it was gonna turn into a saga.

Cheers

xx

In general, I have not been charged tax for items shipped. This, I suspect is because the value described on the package has not usually resulted in a charge being necessary.

However, I can understand that, with shipping charges, you might wish to order several items at once.

Ordering the 'Prince in Hawaii Gift Box', for example,

http://stores.musictoday....426&sfid=2

is likely to be conspicuous because of its size, and - because of the value declared on the box - charges were levied for some when the item entered the UK for customs clearance.

Details about UK customs charges for goods purchased on the internet are here:

Thanks for the link and advice langebleu, it's much appreciated... (Looks like I'll be spending a few fingers and toes then (to appease customs), as opposed to the previously mentioned limbs wink )
