ILUBIDTUA and SISIA are very sad songs, but the songs that I always listen to when I'm down-in-the-dumps are...
*Goodbye (from Crystal Ball).
*The Love We Make (Emancipation).
*There Is Lonely (The Vault). This song tears my heart out all the time, but I always listen to it at least three before I can get myself together and move on to an upbeat funky song like Housequake or something.

Another Lonely Christmas. Just imagine the story and hear the long version. Made me tear up then, still does now.

" I Love You But I Don't Trust You Anymore"...why? because it talks about betrayal of pure and true love. THAT man really loved THAT woman (prince and mayte) and it was such a beautiful lovestory (couldn't have been staged). Most of his songs for her are so fueled with emotion...listen to "Until U're In My Arms Again"...more than his heart was broken when they parted ways...

However, there is also "There Is Lonely" and "Solo"...those can be heart wrenching if you allow them, as well.

I also think that watching UTCM and seeing Christopher Tracy get Shot ny Mr.Sharon and then the Song Sometimes It Snows in April is quite moving and of Course Death makes us Sad. I for 1 could not watch this part in the Movie,cause I would think it Prince and felt Overcome with saddness,but when listening to the song on the Cd I used to get Sad and wonder who it was that Prince was singing about? Was it a Person Or an Animal? Like Citizen Kane and Rosebud! Remember? What does the song mean to You? It is Quite a Moving number. Prince does Write Very Heartfelt pieces,sometimes this really Overwhelms me about him. He does know just what to do,what to say , and how to alternately get us Excited/make us crazy. Prince knows How to make us React, How to Come, well he Knows! He Just Does! He Just Does! He can make you Fall in Love with Him he is Charasmatic and he has the Charm,Magic and Power. Prince. Certainly a Winner. He is Truly Blessed! Beleive me on this. He has all Positive Cards Always in his Tarot. Always he will Score. There are Always good things in his House. Prince Bears Good Fruit! Trust Me this Nasty Girl Knows He is The ONE!

For me, its by far "Sometimes It Snows In April". Even though its from a movie with fictional characters, I've always speculated some truth behind that. The song is delivered with such sincerity, you can't ignore that there is something very real in his life made him write it. He sounds incredibly fragile on this song.

"Eye love you..." never did anything for me. It sounded like a a contrived sappy love song.

Sometimes it snows...is easily the 'sadder' of the 2.

He goes in and out of emotions 2 much on I love U but...

i'd say sometimes it snows in april is sadder because when he sang i love U but i don't trust U anymore, he might not have had all of the facts!

Listen Up everybody Prince is the Bomb, Prince is the Man. Both songs are very Heartfelt and Sad. Many of his Songs are Alternately moving/ thought provoking. Prince will make you Feel his Sadness and his Pain ;well at Least you should. They are Deeply Spritual.

Okay, I know that this is really grim & all but I think the reason y SISIA is extremely sad 2 me is because I have this really sinking feeling that the song is going to be played when lil man leaves us.

Especially the chorus and:
"All good things they say, never last"

I have to say it's a hands down tie and add Another Lonely Christmas to the list.

I'm not at all mushy, but when I heard him do SISIA during the ONA tours and they had the backdrop that looked like it was snowing, I bawled like a baby. That song means something different to everyone, be it a lost love or a lost life. Some many meanings and emotions with just one song.

I try not to listen to it often because it does make me a bit depressed, but it's a beautiful song and was a perfect ending to UTCM.

Another Lonely Xmas - They used to play that on the local radio station every X-Mas and that song is sad as hell.

Makes you wonder what was Prince going through at the time he made this song.
