Prince crowdsurfing? ...I never thought it would happen, but I saw a video of him performing "Nothing Compares 2 U" in which he did just that.

He used 2 crowd surf all the time.. i love it!

Very cool one is at the cafe de Paris gig in London when he rips his top off, during push it up (i think - cant remember exactly which song) and dives right in..twice!
yeah, that was a cool gig. the track being performed at the time was 'MAD', not the released version though. I noticed a couple of benders licking there lips while they were holding him up! | |

I was one of the ones holding him up in the air during that very performance. In fact, when he left his piano in the middle of the crowd, he just stood up, turned his back to where I was and kinda fell (intentionally) backwards. I caught him right under the arms and helped pick him up and pass him back to the front. Strangest thing I remember about it was holding his boot in my hand and thinking...holy cow....I didn't see this coming....and damn....are these boots ever cool? "Funk is it's own reward....." | |

I've seen pretty much all his award show performances but I am struggling to think of one where he crowdsurfs... care to elaborate? The best one is the 'Mad' one on the Beautiful Strange Cafe De Paris gig as has been said - a proper crowd surf where he doesn't just drop back into the crowd, he takes a run up and stage dives! | |

seems like he has never done that without rehearsing but i could be wrong.....he did it on the Arsenio Hall show....sort of slid into the audience and it looked a bit dangerous.....several women were clawing at him | |

To be honest, it makes me a little nervous when I see him crowd surf, get pawed by women, and picked up and spun around by large men.
