Best Musicology Concert? many would say Opening Night is the best one cuz its pro shot, but i have 2 disagree and go with "Musicology in New York" or "Musicology Philly show", anyone remember the show where he dropped his mic? anyway, which is ur favorite show? | |

In terms of filmed, the NYC show was tight - he killed Adore during the acoustic set. I haven't seen the pro shot opening night show - is it available?
In terms of live, I have to say the Saturday night that I saw him Chicago at the AllState Arena was AWESOME. I'd seen him earlier in the week on a Thursday night. That was the first show after the cancellations due to the JB tragedy. He started the show saying "I'm Baaaack." Thursday night was great, but Saturday was off the chain!!! He started the night by saying "Chicago this is gonna be the best night of your life! He was in rare form on LRC, and since it was Saturday night, the crowd went crazy singing that part over and over. I can't ever remember having so much fun with LRC. That was a fantastic show, then I saw him a few hours later at the HOB. He said he would play until the sun came up and he did. It was 5 a.m. when he finished at HOB. I spent the entire night with Prince!! perfection is a fallacy of the imagination... | |

opening night was in Reno, actually 
it gets my vote for best because i was there and i was surprised by how much love Prince got that night obviously had a lot of people come in from elsewhere Reno's usually not that loving of a place  | |

If you just speaking about which actual show was the best, the Essence fest blew everything else out of the water. Of course i don't know of any video of it circulating. i have 2 or 3 of the other shows, but i would have to check them out again to grade them | |
