Well, he does blues/folk style stuff, so I don't think country is beyond him...or even a stretch. However I don't think he'd go that way though.

I would give it a listen, but not support it too much, because he might make more!

and a handful of some others I can't think of. Country pre 80's was great.

I'm not a big country fan but my husband is...and with that I've learned to appreciate it as real music by real musicians so....I could totally see prince embracing it because for the most part filled with singer/song writers and musicians.
